That's a lot I know but I design websites so, what can I say, when I need a new one, I create it. I am also all over You Tube, have photos up on Flikr, and have a FB page. Here is a trailer for my latest book.
I am a trance channel. Yes, I AM one of those New Age freakazoids. Have been all of my life. Can't help it, I have had such bizarre experiences. Ever since I was a small child, I would talk to spirits, have ET visitors, know the future, see lights around people, hear their thoughts, travel out of body, and even a few really strange things happen. I am also an agnostic. Not athiest, but agnostic - know something is beyond our 5 senses but don't know exactly what. In other words, I am still asking questions.
I also am a gourmet cook, love to sew, paint, crochet, embroider, play scrabble, and such homey, Pleasantville stuff. I love fine wine, good food, movies, opera, and theater. I love to travel, explore the desert, mountains, and just about anywhere 7
I am a tech head and can get lost for hours in conversations about the latest Geeky stuff. Of course, I am a Mac user, but each to her own. As my grandmother used to say, "whatever floats your boat."
I am a graphic artist and love to play with digital art and photography. I would love to be a singer, but alas, the universe did not bless me with in-tune pipes.
Professionally, I've done a lot. Graphic Artist, psychologist, NLP practitioner and trainer, cook, professional organizer, hypnotherapist, numerologist, and a lot of other things, even Avon Lady. Mainly I teach spiritual and metaphysical seminars, workshops, and classes. I write, give psychic intuitive and channeled readings, co-conduct spiritual retreats, and give NLP consultations and trainings.
I have travelled professionally to a lot of the world and am ever so grateful for the experience. If I could pick one country that captured my heart, it would be Greece. England second, and France third. I love my life. Never a dull moment.
So, I am going to be writing about a lot of things close to my heart—spirituality, food, fun, life, cooking, crafts, adventure, tech, and more.
I will end this article with a poem. If you are unfamiliar with Buddhism, a Zafu is a pillow that Buddhist meditators sit on. A Zen master will watch the meditators for signs of going to sleep and slap them with a stick to wake them up.
Snafu Zafu
Anita Burns
The Zen Master asks ""What is the sound of one hand clapping?
I answer, after thinking a bit "Much like the sound of one cat scratching."
The Zen Master says "That answer is stinking. "
"Go into your corner and continue to sit."
I go to my Zafu cowered and slinking.
No thoughts, No thoughts, no thoughts not a whit.
I'm quiet, I'm quiet, my ego is shrinking.
Breath in, Breath out, keep vigil, don't quit.
Oh No! Am I thinking about thinking?
"Stop it" I say, "you miserable TWIT."
Breath in, breath out, no thinking, no blinking.
The Zen Master's watching, for signs of my weak'ning.
HIs rod is in hand ever ready to hit.
I must stay awake, I must not......ZZZZZZZZzzzzz
WHACK!
